Going DOWN with HILLARY

Bernie Sanders and Hillary Clinton - Caricatures

In the 1964 film classic, Dr. Strangelove, Slim Pickens is seen riding a nuclear bomb down to his certain death – and perhaps to the end of us all – while he calmly inventories his survival equipment. The Democratic Party Establishment’s commitment to Hillary Clinton is a lot like that.

So begins a most interesting article warning that the Dem Party elite fixation on Hillary is now likely to lead the American nation to Trump.   The full article is at the top of WashReport.com today along with insights into Hillary’s more than flirtation with the Neocons….they primarily ideologue Republicans and Zionists.

Neocon Hillary and Israel

30 05 2016

More about all this today on top at WashReport.com

The really good stuff has been retroactively classified or unilaterally destroyed.  But even so some really insightful things from Hillary have leaked out.  Take for instance this juicy single sentence from one of her emails while she was Sec State as she tried to help Israel ignite a fratricidal regional Middle East war with Iran:

“The fall of the House of Assad could well ignite a sectarian war between the Shiites and the majority Sunnis of the region, drawing in Iran, which, in the view of Israeli commanders would not be a bad thing for Israel and its Western allies.”

Hillary’s alignment with Neocons did not start lately and is not because of Bernie Sanders.  She has actually been a “liberal interventionist” Neocon for a long time; and she decided years ago to cozy up with the Neocons for political strategic reason as well as because of her close association with the Israelis via some of her biggest funders.  This was written about Hillary and the Neocons nearly two years ago and in the NYTimes no less.

Even as they castigate Mr. Obama, the neocons may be preparing a more brazen feat: aligning themselves with Hillary Rodham Clinton and her nascent presidential campaign, in a bid to return to the driver’s seat of American foreign policy.

Bernie’s “Arab American” – Take 2

Politicians need to be judged by who uses them and whom they promote. When it comes to the Middle East Bernie is way over his head. His recent promotion of one James Zogby is a good example. Though Zogby is despised by most in-the-know Palestinians as a self-serving hustler to be scorned, Bernie has anointed him as one of his agents for writing the Democratic Party Platform! Zogby has been a parasitic fixture in Washington for a long time. He and his pollster brother have manipulated themselves into lots of publicity and money. More than 20 years ago students in Washington published this satirical newsletter about Zogby Dogby.

Furthermore here is a quote from some articles I wrote about Zogby years ago:

http://www.middleeast.org/premium/read.cgi?category=Magazine&num=833&month=10&year=2003&function=text

There he was at it again this weekend playing footsie with his good friend Joe Lieberman, the Senator from Connecticut and the representative of and apologist for Ariel Sharon and Israel. It was once again non other than James Zogby, the Arab-American political hustler, at his best (tongue in cheek of course!). And even after all the many millions he has pocketed and spent on self-promotion, Zogby could only manage to get a few hundred naive and confused Arab-Americans to join him for his latest little conference in Detroit — the one his good friend Joe Lieberman exploited for his own gain rounding up the TV cameras to show him addressing his Arab-Americans “cousins” and “telling it like it is”. Zogby is more pariah among in-the-know activist Arab-Americans than anything else; but even so official Washington and the corporate-media often trot him out when they want a safe and practiced ‘Arab-American’ talking head.”

Here is the first part about Zogby…Take 1:

25% hate + 39% dislike both Hillary and Donald

25 05 2016

The very core of the American political/financial system is rotten along with the faux democracy of the two-party oligarchy.  The Occupy Movement a few years ago tried to express the outrage.   Now the polls reflect the basic disenchantment of the people:  Trump is hated by 26 percent, while he’s disliked but not ‘hated,’ by 39 percent.  Clinton’s numbers are similar with 24 percent saying they ‘hate’ her while 39 percent also say they didn’t like the Democratic front-runner, but don’t fully hate her.

Gullible and Naive Bernie

24 05 2016

Sometimes Bernie shows us by his gullibility and naivete that when it come to foreign policy he’s really not up to seriously governing…or even understanding.   The most recent example of this is Bernie’s choice of what the media is terming a pro-Palestinian Arab American to be on the drafting committee of the Democratic Party platform.

Indeed, even by accepting the bones being thrown his way by getting to choose a few persons for the drafting committee, Bernie has already now compromised his ability to do what he should both during and after the convention.  But that’s a much longer more complicated story.  For now just read what I’ve written in the past about Bernie’s choice for the drafting committee:

The “West” and The “Middle East”

15 05 2016

It’s Sykes-Picot 100 year anniversary!   (see NewStatesman article at top of MiddleEast.Org today)

Rather than invading, conquering and controlling the “West” should be paying “reparations” and pleading for forgiveness.    Rather than the Arab Client Regimes, Dictators, and Kings (in addition to Israel of course) the people of the Middle East should be themselves insisting and demanding their own  freedom, democracy, and self-determination!

But history is not over.   Now starts another hundred years.   The hundred years after the historic crime of “Sykes-Picot.”

CIVIL WAR USA – Ideological so far

12 05 2016

There’s another Civil War in America these days.  It’s ideological so far but who knows what lies ahead as the middle class continues to shrink/suffer, America’s dominance in the world further fades, responsive “terrorism” escalates, and mega weapons of near instant armageddon proliferate.   As bad as another Clinton Presidency would be, a Trump one may well fuel this Ideological American Civil War even more.  As always check daily WashReport.com

This today from a Harvard Professor who clearly has had enough:

Harvard professor: Start treating Christian conservatives like Nazi

A Harvard law professor has called for liberals to begin treating like Nazis those who subscribe to Christian or conservative beliefs.    “My own judgment is that taking a hard line (‘You lost, live with it’) is better than trying to accommodate the losers.   Trying to be nice to the losers didn’t work well after the Civil War, nor after Brown.  And taking a hard line seemed to work reasonably well in Germany and Japan after 1945.”
